I was a fan of those shows, too. I also liked Ah! Real Monsters and Rugrats.

I am THEE oldschool nick fan. I'm 24 so by oldschool nick, i mean from nick since it's start untill the mid to late 90's. They need to have an oldschool nick channel where we can watch mister wizard, count duckula, mysterious cities of gold, inspector gadget, dangermouse, david the gnome, today's special, pinwheel, adventures of the little koala, doug, rugrats (seasons 1-3), ren and stimpy, rocko, you can't do that on television, etc

I agree with you. There should be an Old School Nick channel showing all of the Nickelodeon shows that were aired during the 80s and 90s. I'd love to see Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, RoundHouse, and All That.

I'd also like to see some DVDs of these shows. They already have a French language version of Mysterious Cities of Gold.

But, the show I'd like most to see on DVD would be You Can't Do That On Television. That was one of my favorite shows back in the 80s.

I mainly like "Slimtime", "Mr. Wizard", and "You Can't Do That On TV".

Dude, MCoG was French. Well, actually, I think it was a French/Japanese collab. But ours was the translation.

Classic Nick is definitely my thing. I spent a few days watching old episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark.

I've done this too.

Right, I meant to say the original French language version. That was a screwup on my part.

Okay, cool. :) Nobody believes me when I tell them the French make great cartoons! I've half a mind to get myself a french DVD of MCoG, but hey. I probably have enough in the way of old 80s kids programmes, and I mostly have them to put on in the background and make people WTF?! anyway.

Although I did not see many of those shows on Nick, (I've seen them else where though, and I now have a lot of them on DVD) I still enjoy watching many of them nowadays and so you could still call me an old school Nick fan.

Goodbye Till Next Time.

P.S. my Fave is and always will be MCoG!

I watched Nickelodeon during the mid to late '90s pretty often. It was quite enjoyable. I also enjoyed Nickelodeon during the early '00s. My favorite segment was Nicktoon Summer Beach House. I looked forward to that every summer.

My favourite nick show, despite it not being a part of my childhood or teenhood is Avatar The Last Airbender because it's just that good. But if I had to choose my favourite nick show from my childhood it would be Hey Arnold. It's like The Simpsons of Nickelodeon.

Why did the Rugrats have to grow up??! ! Why??! !

But yeah, favourite classic Nick shows:

The Rugrats
Ren & Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life
Hey Arnold!
Doug
Spongebob (I consider this the last show of classic Nick)
Kenan & Kel (I remember there was a massive rumour that Kel got shot and died, but he didn't)
Are You Afraid Of The Dark?

Pinwheel
Today's Special
Danger Mouse
You can't do that on television
Tomorrow People(70's version)
Adventures in Raibow County
Matt & Jenny
Black Beauty
Dusty's Treehouse
Livewire
Count Duckula

As well, I remember Snick too esp-- Are you afraid of the dark?
