Yautja are definitely the coolest Alien Species. I'm with Bradleigh, Confused-Fish and Zyborg.

Gallifreyans and by extension Time Lords
However Predators are easily the most badass, while Time Lords are the coolest for sheer intellectual supremacy while Plasma Casters and Wrist Blade pwn, nuff said

I was expecting to see the Predators, which I give HUGE judos for, I LOOOOOVE the Predators, but for me, in my own opinion, it HAS TO BE the Xenomorphs from the "Alien" 20th Century Fox franchise.

I have had many debates with my friends about these wonderful "bugs" and even had a long winded debate with one of my friends about who would win in a fight between a Xenomorph and Freddy Krueger.

In a way the Xenomorphs in my opinion are closely rivaled in coolness by the "Arachnids" from Starship Troopers.

Xenomorphs are pretty cool also. I got the game Alien Vs Predator:Instinction, where you can play as wither Xenomorphs, Yautjas or Marines, it is realy fun to play as the Xenomorphs, where you set the queen in a good spot and order the drones, warior and runners around to gather hosts. One of my favirout movie moments is when the Xenomorph is right behind somone and making the hissing noise right before the strike.

While they're not an actual alien species as much as a cult, Faction Paradox gets the thumbs up from me for sheer style (and lack of taste).

I have to say, that "non-existence" would be a pretty impressive way of avoiding detection.

Star Wars aliens with weird and wonderful thought-up-on-the-spot (my opinion) names CHEWIE! JABBA! RANCOR! (last 2 - eugh nasty things)
TIME LORDS, DALEKS, CYBERMEN. Doctor Who fan here.

That's what I was going to say. They are so enigmatic. I imagine trying to get an answer to a question out of them is what it must often feel like for people trying to get answers out of me sometimes!

Plus, I like their many different forms, and the idea that they can break off pieces of their conciousness and implant them in other beings.

The coolest as in being a cool alien:

Apart from that, i think i'd have to go with the Predator as well.

I know that Widget is a world watcher, but that's a job title to be exact according to me; my memory from my fav cartoon series is a bit blank (with no chance to have episodes on DVD  ): I'm not sure what is his real extraterrestrial species name, and with that, what is the real name of his planet? I've heard of the term Purple planet from a game review, but this left me puzzled.

Eldar or Protoss.

*Sage nod*

Though I guess the Imperium of Man could be considered alien in that they were so different to us.

XD
