While I'm happy that Futurama's coming back, I'm displeased that it's coming back on Comedy Central. It's Adult Swim that deserves to have it, especially since CC doesn't actually know what's funny, they just know what's popular.
Too true. In fact I was also j/w about the fact that the article stated that Fox and CC were bringing it back, but it later stated that episodes would be airing on CC in mid 2010. So it's just not gonna play on Fox then, or is it still implied that they would air on Fox.
This also considering that after King of the Hill is gone, the only thing not made by Seth McFarlane will be The Simpsons....Idk how anyone else feels, but I'm not nearly as enthusiastic about The Simpsons as I used to be. Plus, I still like Family Guy but I also think American Dad is pretty redundant. It's funny for sure, but the fact that it's more reformed (or less obscure) than Family Guy in some light, means that it can only be go so far; basically Family Guy has itself developed more ways to be funny. However the consistency makes it unique to be so interesting, but only to a certain degree. Plus he's making this other spin-off show called The Cleveland Show, about the very character from Family Guy, which I have also read is the major reason for cancelling KOTH. I gues that also means there would be no room for Futurama either. =\
