New one which could be the greatest show ever sayonara zetsubou Sensei.

One could guess that from your avatar, some might find it boring but it is a great satire on society, though it always keeps a level head seeing a problem, then at the pinacle: *sound effects and different angles* Zetsuboshita, (I am in despair). One could also think that the main character Nozomu Itoshiki could be aspergers, for a range of things such as not looking at other in the eyes, fairly awkward socialising, and a couple eccentricities. Aswell as a few other characters that might have traits aswell.

If you like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei I would also recomend other SHAFT anime like Maria Holic and Natsu no Arashi. Also a show that is curently broadcasting and is in a similar style though on more plot based, is Bakemongatari, which many have high praise for which I would recomend to people. It is kind of experimental, and don't be turned off by the first minute as it is kind of like a joke which SHAFT are known for, it is a fun watch.

The parts I watched online is there supposed to be an asian man blurring out private parts.
Apparently it is suposed to be the director or manga creator, and they shove his face over things to be censored, it is part of a joke putting this type of picture over the risky parts.

It is interesting once they have the OP which is very misleading.

i wouldn't recommend it unless you read the sound novel first. anime is just too short and they had to cut out most of the content.^^; the pacing is way too fast.
and so far there's a rule that the first twilight always looses all the epicness. XD it's sad, cosidering it's usually the best murder in the episode (in the novel).

novel is absolutely awesome though.

I would personally reccomend any anime over any manga.

I'm rather partial to the Vampire Hunter D movies, especially the second one (I think it's called "Bloodlust").

Well Yotsuba&! spoken Yotsubato is a good manga, especialy if you have seen Azumanga Daioh as it is made by the same person. It wont be turned into an anime at the creators request.

Another one that people might mention Rosario + Vampire said as Rosario to Vampire which I think is a pretty good anime, though got some real ecchi moments and some cliches attached to a harem anime. There are some complaints that the anime differed from the manga and that the anime was not as good as the manga, though I have started to colect the manga I think that both were good.

I would disagree especially in the instances where animated feature films are merely manga adaptations. Many are far too short and skim over too many details to do justice to the story.

Ah Full metal Alchemist is an ok one, lots of people quite like it. They are also doing a redo series that is moreaccurate to the manga which is the original source material. Not quite a favirout of mine but I still enjoy the series. Mustang is a favirout character of mine from that though, sometimes I click out of habit to imatate his attack.

I would still no matter the anime pick the anime over the manga no matter how much is lost. Unlike books and movies I have not seen an anime so far I did like at least like. Mangas to me just are kind of boring. Like with most comic books.
