3D is a gimmick, but it's nice to see that The Lion King is back in theaters. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. The circle of life is almost complete. How ironic.

Hereafter - entertaining character drama, played with some interesting philosophical and social issues.

Hanna - It was alright, I knew a lot of people who swore that the Kali in it was great - it was okay, still not as good as Bourne Identity or Sherlock Homes in that sense. It did have an entertaining plot though and the sort of dry culture-shock humor cracked me up.

I'm seeing it very shortly at my neighborhood movie theater.

The funniest part about watching this movie is seeing the other theater goers try to leave without touching anything.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

There were so many impossibilities and implausibilities in that film that made it nearly impossible for me to watch. Jeez Louise.

I saw Contagion yesterday. A damn good movie
and one hell of a thriller. Well worth seeing.

It's actually at its most effective on the big screen. When I first saw it in the theater, I thought it was one of the scariest movies I had ever seen. Somehow, that didn't translate well onto the small screen.
