The streaming service has just made a big leap into notability by answering the call for "six seasons and a movie" (well, the first part of it anyway). I'm happy with this news. The last season (which reversed the stupid decision to fire creator Dan Harmon) wasn't the best, but it did have some really good episodes, plus the finale would have been a really unsatisfying ending to the series. I'd be fine with this being the last season if there was a proper finale, or if they made good on their promise for a movie. But we'll see how much success Yahoo! has with this.

I'm always happy about new Community. However, with the exception of 1 episode (the one with Pierce's Will, for an episode taking place entirely at the table, it was a really good episode) I didn't find Season 5 to much be of an improvement over the previous one. In fact, I actually kinda liked it from episode 9 (the puppet/musical episode) onwards in the Fourth Season, although for the season finale, the "it was a dream" conclusion near the end was lame. But the origins story episode was pretty cool. And for Season 5... even the Dungeons and Dragons episode didn't really do much for me. Which is a shame because, even though I've never played Dungeons and Dragons, I really liked the first episode they did on it. But I was happy to see the return of Professor Duncan.
Also, I actually thought the show suddenly dipped in quality for most of the episodes in the last half of the Third Season.
But even though I don't like it as much as i used to, it's still an enjoyable show to watch and I seem to be able to count on it for some awesome standout moments and episodes.
I'd love it if they did six seasons and a movie.
