I found the movie rather "meh" in general... but Quicksilver is hilarious... (unlike his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron, where he was boring as hell)...

i thought it didn't come out until the 27th??

Funny and chaotic. Just what you'd except from Deadpool.

Trumbo

And what did you think of Trumbo?

Birds Of Prey, a 1987 film directed by Rene Cardona Jr. His father is sometimes referred to as 'The Mexican Ed Wood', and he seems to have passed on his lack of talent to his offspring. The film is a trashy rip off of Hitchcock's The Birds, with some exploitation content and a laughable ecological subtext thrown into the mix. Alarmingly, the second unit director is named in the credits as Rene Cardona III.

Two other things I learned from the closing credits: the film's title in the USA is Beaks, The Movie, and a company called 'Popcorn De Mexico' contributed to the production.

LBJ: ALL THE WAY.

I immediately forgot I was watching Bryan Cranston playing Lyndon Johnson in this HBO made for TV movie. A truly outstanding actor who tackles the role of the President who gave civil rights to millions of Americans who had been disenfranchised for the color of their skin. Johnson's political wheeling dealing is shown as one of his amazing skills, along with his realization that his fellow southern whites needed to come forward into the modern age with civil rights, despite the alienation of those same southern whites, as well as losing long time political allies.

If you haven't seen My Name Is Khan, you should. It's a really good movie about a man with Aspergers.

just got back from Captain America Civil War.

i must say...i love this Spiderman. I feel he takes on the role perfectly. I would like to know Aunt May's secret to DE-aging. LOL I think this movie should have had SOME reference to Wanda's twin, Peter. I give this movie an 8.5/10. I recommend it!

next up, I'm seeing X-Men!
