Stunning and creepy in equal measure - and all animated!
(actually it was a re-watch, having just finished series 4)

Here, it's available on Vimeo -

Ah! that age old tale of greed, toxic relationships and Spanish colonialism.

I think it must be Christmas because they've got tinsel and that in the pub

Just started watching Magnum PI free on the Roku channel. I really like old detective shows.

Im literally cheering at the telly watching Gangs of London

The level of violence in series 2 is absolutely fantastic and the cinematography is (I must say) second to none

I know I've banged on this drum before about this show but it is stunning....in a very dark way

Speed Racer

Season 1
Episode 28 - The Race Against Time: Part 1 - Dec. 22, 1967

Quote:
Speed and Trixie scour the Sahara for an archaeologist's daughter, and come across a fantastic kingdom.

Episode 29 - The Race Against Time: Part 2 - Dec. 22, 1967
Quote:
Speed and Trixie are made slaves and ordered to dig up treasure. But Speed has an escape and rescue plan in mind.

I watched this show as a child. Am I as drawn (no pun intended) to the the show as I use to be? No, but watching the credits I recalled how much I liked cars, historical and new.

I want to find the animated series Hot Wheels. I read that Albert Brooks voice Kip, and Casey Kasem voiced Dex. Dex drove the Jack Rabbit Special.

The Jack Rabbit Special (actual Hot Wheels, and I use to have one)

Doctor Who

Season 2 (according to Disney - I do not like this starting over with the seasons business.)
Episode 5 - The Story and the Engine - May 10, 2025

The Doctor is trapped in a barbershop where stories are collected.
Excellent episode.

I was also playing SCUM. I was walking back to my base. I was glued to Doctor Who. Then I looked at the screen. I was under water. That is not good. I took off my backpack (filled with metal) because I could not swim to the surface. Then I took off my stab proof vest. Still could not swim to the surface.
R.I.P.
:D

One episode later -

Episode 6 - The Interstellar Song Contest - May 17, 2025

Another excellent episode. Exciting end. Looking forward to the next episode.

One episode later -

Episode 7 - Wish World - May 24, 2025

Brilliant episode and frustratingly, "To Be Continued"
