Love Stargate SG-1, been a fan for a few years now. My favorite episode is Window of Opportunity, because it's so damn funny

Was fan here too; but not since richard dean anderson left.
loved many of whackier story lines even if found the more serious ongoing ones a bit tedious after a while. the team was magic.
liked film too.
think james spaders role is a bit aspies.

"In the middle of my backswing????" Yes, that's a classic epi. It's always #1 or #2 on viewer marathons.

One of my favs is "Shades of Grey," when O'Neill goes to the dark side.

I watched SG-1 from the very start. I have all but Seasons 2 and 10 on DVD. I had a great time watching this show for a whole decade or so, and I miss it a lot. It was a superbly made show - definitely set an industry standard for sci fi.

I like Atlantis too, but I'm annoyed with them killing off Beckett, bringing that annoying Jewel Straite chick onboard, reducing Weir to a reoccuring character, leaving the Ford storyline unresolved for so long, and the overuse of the Asurans.

I'm happy Samantha Carter has joined the cast of Stargate Atlantis...

Stargate: SG-1 theme song lyrics:

Stargate

It's a great big whirl with a great big swirl

You can step inside to another world

We're talking Stargate

It's a crazy trip

You can go quite far and you don't need a car or even a ship

There's Colonel O'Neill and Carter and Daniel and Teal'c

Look out for that G G G G G G G G Goa'uld!

I'm sad. But I did see the theme song sung on YouTube.

I'm not so crazy about this right now, but I'm open for a change of heart. So far, she's been too "big sisterly" and that's irking me. I'm hoping she'll start being more "executive commanderly" soon. I really liked the Ronon episode, where he had a square-off with her - it was very much in character for Ronon, and I liked how it made Carter sort of snap out of her cheery sisterliness for a moment. It was good they had that episode shortly after Carter's assignment, to make Carter see how Ronon struggles with feeling like an outsider still. I hope this sets things up so there's a good connection between Ronon and Carter down the line.

If I had my way Claudia Black and Ben Browder would have never been on SG1 because Farscape would never have been cancelled!

They should still be on Farscape, that show should never have been cancelled and the people responsible for cancelling it should have been fired years ago. Yet Bonnie 'blonde fake tanned bimbo idiot' Hammer is still President of the SciFi Channel.

Apparently Ronon and Jewel Staite's character Dr Smeller are going to have a relationship. Ugh, hate that character, I loved Kaylee, but Dr Smeller is a useless, badly written character
