Not bad but, could have been better

I just finished watching Saw III, which I have seen several times and don't care for barring a couple of moments but was the result of option paralysis kicking in.

That said, despite being a generally sub par group of films, there is some ambition in the narrative within the series as a whole. Which I guess is commendable.

Sherlock Holmes.
Robert Downey Jr is a great actor in my opinion.

I saw Rogue One, it was okay as far as mindless entertainment but the story was weak and didn't make a lot of sense. Felicity Jones was not a good lead and the Rebel Alliance seemed overpowered in my opinion and never captured any feeling of risk. Also a Star Wars without Jedis?

The similarities between this and Star Wars have been greatly exaggerated.

]I would have to say that is was more of a dark comedy in some respects, regardless the performances of the various actors was great especially, Robert Carlyle & Guy Pierce and many others. Actually, I say that I've seen this film many times especially when it was first aired on the sci-fi channel back in 1999.Lastly, it had a thought provoking ending, which if you've seen it you know what I'm stating.

Mel Brooks parody of various Hitchcock films. Hitch apparently loved it, though I wonder if he was just being polite. It's no Young Frankenstein or Spaceballs. It's not even Dracula: Dead and Loving It. Just forgettable.

If It! The Terror from Beyond Space is the original 1950s version of Alien, Them! is the 1950s precursor of Aliens. These older movies aren't as good as the later ones, but they're entertaining enough and it's interesting to see where the inspiration came from.

I have fond memories of that movie from back when I was a kid. :)

It's certainly one of the better 1950s "atomic bomb radiation makes animals huge and pissed off" horror flicks. Not as good as Godzilla, but better than The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms and It Came from Beneath the Sea. I found those last two hideously overrated.
