Loving.

True life story about the Richard and Mildred Loving, the interracial couple who had had to flee their state of Virginia where their marriage was illegal, or face prison. Unwilling to lose touch with their families, they risked jail, and took legal action during the civil rights era with the help of the ACLU, where, going before the Supreme Court, brought down the indefensible laws against interracial marriage. A supremely great movie where love conquers all.

Excellent. Surprisingly accurate too, aside from a handful of details that drove me nuts.

As a history a buff, I nitpick over everything a movie gets wrong with a movie taking place in a period I'm familiar with.

Yeah, it's always the little stuff. There was a Sherlock Holmes movie in the 1930s that changed his address from 221B Baker Street to 221A. Such a trivial detail, but that drove me nuts more than anything. Same with this movie. It got the big picture right, but little things like the chess notation being wrong bothered me more than they should've.

Not really that great of a story. But went well until the last part of the film, then it really shows the directors religion. With the atheists only giving reasons based on pathos for their atheism, where the Christians seem to reason more based on logos (whether or not you agree with their arguments). Also the antagonist, who deludes himself that he is not a terrorist, blackmails the US government in bringing together the smartest people in America. And they are all either an Western-style atheist or Christian, but nothing else. Yeah, right.
