Sons of Anarchy Season 7 episodes 7-13.
I take it you liked the beginning episodes better? Prehaps they were better, but as you can see, I finished it. At least it wraps things up well enough.
Yeah, Seasons 1 and 2 were the best. I thought it was great. Season 3 is when the characters apparently all suffered an off-screen lobotomy. I can't believe how stupid they've become, always falling for obvious set-ups, always assuming that the least obvious person was responsible for something, always carelessly leaving behind a huge piece of evidence, etc. In Season 7, it's actually shocking that nobody has figured out what happened at the end of 6, and that everything that's happening is the result of stupid, stupid, stupid misunderstandings and assumptions. Add in the fact that the screenwriters are expecting me to still sympathize with these scumbags... I read a spoiler for how the show ends, and what Jax does is just cowardly; it doesn't actually atone for anything he's done.
The Shield maintained its quality throughout all 7 seasons. I kept waiting for it to start sucking, but it never happened. It just got better and better, and it finished spectacularly. I have no idea in the world how the same people could have been responsible for the downward spiral of
Sons of Anarchy. I think maybe Kurt Sutter is a victim of his own success; he's gotten so popular and has had so much praise heaped upon him that nobody questions him when he writes something appallingly stupid and terrible.
If you're enjoying the show more than me, that's great. I'm glad someone's getting something out of it. But me, I'm just watching it to get it over with at this point.
