Yes, it is a quote from American Psycho.

"You'll pray for death long before you die!" is from Dead Men Walk (1943)

How about this one - "Marry? Marry a notorious gunman, I won't allow it!" A hint - the character saying this is Count Dracula.

Sorry, that is not the film I had in mind. If someone said it in "Apocalypse Now" it is a coincidence. I will leave it up for anyone to try again. If you saw the film, you would probably remember the line.
