The Addams Family

I actually watched it by accident. Since my internet connection is weak here, I decided to put my TV on antenna. I usually don't bother doing this because I only get four channels and they're all geared towards the over 70 crowd. In any case, The Addams Family movie with Christopher Lloyd, et al, was on. It was fun seeing a prepubescent Christina Ricci. Christopher Lloyd was also very good as Uncle Fester. All in all, not a bad time waster.

I actually consider the sequel to be an even funnier movie.

I liked both of them. I saw them both in theatre when I was little.

A reboot is set for release on October 11th in time for Halloween.

That should be good.

The Saint.
When I was a kid I loved this film. Now I think it could have been better.

Watching Diabolique (1996), the remake of the 1950s French film, this time set in late 20th century America, it would seem. This is a version in Portuguese on YouTube, being the only one I've so far been able to locate, so I can't understand any of the dialogue. Not necessarily a major problem, as the script was pretty lousy according to a lot of the reviews, and if you're familiar with the original it's still possible to follow the story.

By the way, I've scoured the dvd sections of a good many shops in Greater Manchester over the past couple of weeks in an effort to find this film, but without success. The CEX website advertises the price as just £0.50 for a used copy, which would suggest it's widely available, but it's also listed at up to £30 on Amazon, which appears somewhat to contradict that... :-?

I watched Wonder Woman for the second time. The first time I saw it was when it came out in theaters.

The Cloverfield Paradox.

An international crew aboard the space station, the Shepard, sometime in the future, are trying to divert a catastrophe on earth, when their experiment puts them into a mirror image of their reality where the earth is also facing dire consequences. But what horrors might be released when they try to return to their own earth?
First rate sci-fi movie, with a tie-in to the first Cloverfield movie.
