I watched The Bourn Supremacy on Sunday night. I still need to see The Bourne Ultimatum which I hope to do soon.

Knocked Up (done by same bunch that did 40 Year Old Virgin), very good comedy.

Little Miss Sunshine. Overrated, didn't like any of the characters.

I saw Across the Universe last week. It was a very good movie, and I'm disappointed that it got zero publicity. If you like the music of the Beatles, you have to see it.

I saw "Order of the Phoenix" on a plane from Australia recently.

And today I watched "Tonari no Totoro" again on my DVD. It reminded me how much I love the umbrella scene.

Theaters: August Rush
It doesn't come out until November 21st, but I saw a free screening a few days ago.
Robin Williams drops his hammy shtick to play a total jerk.
Keri Russell is just damn hot!
The director is Jim Sheridan's daughter, Kirsten Sheridan.

DVD: Rocky Balboa
Sylvester Stallone's career is over after Rambo 4 is released in January.
But I found this to be a very enjoyable movie.
The dude from "Heroes" plays Rocky's son.

Stardust: Made me feel light headed and dizzy (in a good way.) I pride myself on the fact that I didn't automatically assume that the Robert De Niro character was gay when he started wearing women's clothes.

the newest actually worth mentioning are

transformers: before this i was starting to think that movies would never be good again.
note: i'm not a transformers nut or fan or anything, besides this movie.

evan almighty: not as good as the first but still i did get in for free to see it.
note: the one i saw was torn a bit so they let me in for free.

i'm not a real movie person though.

Silent Hill. Quite disturbing. I hadn't heard of the game, so at first I didn't understand it.

I just saw Miracle on DVD last night. I loved it. I'm not even a hockey fan, but I do like stories about people succeeding against impossible odds.

Did you see The Pursuit of Happyness? (That's how it's spelled.) I almost couldn't watch till the end, cause they were suffering so much!

No, I haven't seen that movie. Movies like that make me edgy. I haven't ever been able to see "It's A Wonderful Life" all the way through for that very reason. I can't read books that have people suffering all the way through, and then try to reedem themselves with a neat, clean, happy ending.
