I remember seeing this as a child and being desperately jealous that he got to live in a bubble, away from people.

Not really impressed by this film. There where some good things but over all not the best.

I found I hadn't actually watched any of them before, which was surprising
I liked them

Shark Night
a good monster (shark) movie with a bit different take on it.

Alien: Resurrection Directors Cut

What is your opinion, Brother Ferris?

I'm interested in seeing this.

It's the worst film in the Alien franchise imo and I thought the Directors cut might help it - it didn't

A reason why I saw Ad Astra was because of the relationship between the lead character (played by Brad Pitt) and his father (played by Tommy Lee Jones) who left him thirty years prior to be part of a space mission.

Overall, I liked it. The CG and the cinematography could make this film an easy "wild card" for the Academy Awards for Best Cinematography and/or Best Visual Effects.
