The Satanic Rites Of Dracula (1973)

USA Title: Count Dracula And His Vampire Bride

An attempt by Hammer to bring the Dracula series up to date by making the Count into a sinister business tycoon in 1970s Britain. Didn't get great reviews, but definitely better than the previous year's Dracula AD 1972. Christopher Lee didn't think much of it either, and refused to take part in any more such films.

Also stars a young Joanna Lumley, as the granddaughter of Van Helsing (Peter Cushing).

looks good

The Creep Behind The Camera.

Imagine Ed Wood, but without a soul or a shred of humanity, and you would have A.J. Nelson, AKA Vic Savage. Nelson was a conman, wife beater, adulterer, pedophile, drug abuser and alcoholic, and celebrity stalker who decided in the early sixties that he would make the biggest monster movie of all time, called The Creeping Terror. Rubbing shoulders with notables Charles Manson at the Spahn Ranch where he filmed the movie, and Mickey Cohen whose thugs beat Nelson up for a debt he owed the mob boss, he made what very well might be the worst movie of all time, turned cult classic. The questions remains - - did Nelson really want to make a movie, or was this really just a colossal con?
Hilarious documentary with dramatic reenactments.

Missile To The Moon (1958)

Sometimes compared with Queen Of Outer Space, which was released at around the same time, but this is quite a bit different. Made in black and white, which obviously gives it a more 'dated' look, and it's a lot more 'talky'. Worth a look though - the scheming interactions of the moon-women are perhaps the most interesting aspect, and the atrocious space monsters are good for a laugh as usual in this sort of movie.

Raging wind 3/6 , Chen Sing/Kurata

Black Panther 3.5/6

Chen Sing plays an ex con whos framed and wants revenge against the boss , played by Kurata......I guess Sing did something to piss off the boss prior to the opening scene but the movie never explains what

I'm watching Nymphomaniac Volume I, and then I'll watch Volume II. Four hours of utter emotional complication, addiction, compulsion, feeding, yearning... the likes of which I've never been able to obtain in myself because of my gender, psychology, sensibilities, paranoias, and the like. Except when I was 17, but that's a whole other messed up story. The pining I do feel though. The director's cut is 5 hours long but it's not on Netflix right now so I can't get the full dose. I think I've spent 30+ hours of my life watching it. The last time I watched it was before I got sober.
