21 Bridges

Shakespeare, it ain't, but that wasn't it's goal which is to provide you with an adrenaline rush for your popcorn snacking evening. In that sense, this fast-paced cop thriller worked.

What's your verdict?

I want to see that.

I found it enjoyable, but a bit hard to follow in places- like it was just random action filling parts, if that makes sense . I think it's a film I'll have to watch again to have a better opinion of. :)

That movie had me laughing my head off. Plus I like it because Putin hates it.

Birds Of Prey.

After breaking up with the Joker, Harley Quin discovers that without the protection of the Clown Prince of Crime, everyone who hates her - which is pretty much everyone - can now kill her. She finds herself caught in the middle of a power grab by the crime boss, Black Mask, and his sinister hitman and torturer, Victor Zass, to take over the Gotham underworld, both of whom want her to die in agony, too. Harley finds herself in a peculiar position of protecting a young Asian American pickpocket who has a diamond the Black Mask wants, and having to ally herself with three new Gotham super heroines.
Very funny, very action packed film, and highly recommended.

Has anyone seen Gretel & Hansel?

I'm not sure if it would trigger / terrify me, or if it's not that scary. I have issues with psychological horror.

That movie was by far the closest depiction to the teenagers I grew up with during the 70s were actually like. The movie depicted the last day of high school in 1976. I graduated from high school in 1975. The director Richard Linkletter was in real life a freshman baseball player in '76.

The only thing that was really different is we did not have the fraternities and hazing Linkletter experienced in Texas. But the way they talked and moved, the words they used, the big gatherings in a field were how it was.

That depiction is mild compared to the last day in my high school. The papers were two and three feet deep in the hallways and smoke bombs were going off.
