I never rated Munchausen as terrible, quite the reverse. (except financially!)
But then I loved Time Bandits too, and that's not to everyone's taste.

I forgot to add 'Alfie' to my list. The original one that debuted in 1966.

Baron Muchausen is just bonkers..which is why i love it. Time Bandits but it's pretty creepy too.

My tastes are very scattered dont ya reckon?

Fairly scattered,
But apart from the Kubrik, as with many other postings here, your tastes are frighteningly young
to this old-timer.

To scatter your tastes more you may have to go back in time, to the great B/W era,
or perhaps to some more classic science fiction?

I dont think I've ever seen a movie that was black and white , have you got any suggestions for ones that are good to watch?
As for sci-fi, never been a fan.

Anything with the Marx Brothers in it Duck Soup is the best
