Data, though I love Spock also. I just empathize more with Data's quest to be 'a real boy.' I feel like that a lot.

Mostly because his Mirror Universe counterpart had a Beard Of Evil. An evil Data just couldn't compete with that :)

That's true. Does anyone remember the time Data got a beard, and it was just kind of sad?

they both have their salient points which equal-out IMO. leonard nimoy invested spock with such depth that the actor who plays data pales in comparison. but data's character [NOT the actor who plays him] seems kinder in comparison. i value kindness. just my 2-cents' worth.

Data, far more logic in his little finger then Spock had in his entire bing. On the other hand, he did want to be human, while Spock rejected that.

T'pol was a terrible Vulcan; bland, boring, only in Enterprise for Jolene Blalocks sex appeal.

This is an old thread, but i'll chime in. Data was always my favorite character in all of star trek. I was even caught imitating him in school  . His difficulties with understanding human emotions and antics make him star trek's most lovable character IMO.

Data is the best android in Sci-fi. The second best, I think, would be Bishop. The third would be the endoskeleton terminator from Terminator 2.

Data is not organic. He does not have blood to circulate nutrients to his body parts. He might have liquid coolant or liquid lubrication though.
