I don't see how anyone could compete with Heath Ledger as the Joker. I think we should have a new villan. Also, the end of The Dark Knight where Batman becomes a fugitive leaves a lot of storyline potential IMO.

Maybe The Joker reappears in the next Batman Movie, the third movie could reveal the the real origins of The Joker and how he got his Glasgow smile which he covered with Makeup, my theory is that The Joker used to be a Disciple of Ras Al Ghul, and Ras Al Ghul sprayed the Hallucinogen toxin from Batman Begins on the Joker and gave the Joker the Chelsea smile, as The Joker had a concentrated dose like Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins instead of Dying he becomes insane (Remember when the Joker said "I believe that what does not kill you makes you stranger"), Then Ras Al Ghul immediatly hid the Jokers real identity and secretly sent to the Scarecrow in Arkham Asylum, The Joker could have been one of the Arkham Asylum Inmates who escaped in Batman Begins.

In the Christopher Nolan version the past of The Joker is supposed to remain a mystery. He's a force of chaos more that a individual.

I want to see Catwoman.

I think they should go back to Scarecrow as the main villain. He could have escaped jail when the Joker set the bomb off in The Dark Knight. Have him have his fear drug perfected as well as other drugs that lets him control people. I know he's not usually the big bad, but in Nolan's universe, I think it would be a good fit.

I think the Riddler played By John Simm should be the main villan along with Scarecrow, Harley Quinn (Played By Rita Simons from EastEnders), Recasted Joker (Johnny Deep), Harvey Two Face and a Suprise return of Ras Al Ghul as the main ultimate Villan. I think There is a connection between Ras Al Ghul and The Joker.

Riddler played by Edward Norton or as someone said, Daniel Day-Lewis.

No recasted Joker!

How about Kate Beckinsale as Catwoman?

The fanpeople would go bananas...

My opinion is that you can't have Batman without Catwoman, and Johnny Depp would make an awesome Riddler.

But he was on the loose in The Dark Knight, he was selling people drugs laced with his fear drug, interstingly the special features of the movie had a pretend news story on it. Being in the third would make him a villain in all three.

LOL, still, not even Spider Man 3 comes close to this kind of villain crowding.

I Think the Joker was a continuation of Ras al Ghuls plan to destroy Gotham City in Batman Begins, i think Ras Al Ghul survived the Monorail crash in Batman Begins, as you did not see him die and his body was not found, so i think the Riddler or the Joker would be the main villans to start off with and Ras Al Ghul will return later onin the film revealing the true origins of the Joker.

If I hear someone say "The Goddamn Batman" In the next fil I will personally get Chris Nolan, Christian Bale, And Frank Miller and Burn them alive. Frank Miller took a fantastic franchise and turned it into a joke I mean how do you go from making TDKR (greatest graphic novel ever) To making All Star Batman?

I want Scott McClure to be the Joker. He plays the Joker on his youtube series TheJokerBlogs.
