I've got a problem with buying lacy underwear.. although 3 corsets later it seems i'm controlling it.

I also have about double the shoes you listed, and way too many clothes. It's not the objects that draw me in, its seeing them in the shop then buying them that sends me into a euphora. That's why I like shopping so much.

Only 3? I give you my permission and personal seal of approval to purchase up to 50 corsets. I know that my permission has no relevance to you and you do not need it, but I thought you might like to use it as an excuse anyway. Then you can blame me for purchasing too much underwear. You can use me as your own personal scapegoat!

i want a corset! anybody know where to get one? are there any stores nearby that sell them?

They sell them at bra shops. Perhaps not much of a selection, but nevertheless. GAH! What am I saying?? I meant I have NO idea where you would purchase one! I know nothing about corsets! Nothing! I swear! By the way, I also give you my permission and personal seal of approval to purchase 50 corsets! Anyone else want to use me as an underwear scapegoat? But a word of advice for both men and women: Corsetry no longer requires that you crush your ribs. It is not very sexy if you cannot breath, so I recommend getting a corset that actually fits comfortably, unlike the corsets of old.

I wouldnt mind owning a fully boned lace up corset, you can get one professionally made to measure with or without waist cinching.
I love dunlops too. I have a high top pair with a sherpa lining and denim exterior and they have to be the most confortable shoes I have ever worn. I was thinking about getting a pair of converse chuck taylor's but these seem smaller in the toe than my dunlops, which is why I'm sticking with my dunlops .

Sherpa lining and denim exterior, that sounds good! Are they dunlop *volley* or a different type of dunlop? Where did you get them?

Woohoo! FYI, my birthdays this year are 30 April, 15 July, and 27 October. I also like merino woollens.

I have a huge obssesion with belts, especially studded belts. I have this really cool pink and black one. I'm also obssessed with emily the strange. I bought this really cool hoody today. Its black and it has a cat across the front. And for shoes, I love Vans. I have about 3 pairs of them.

I'm ALWAYS wearing blue. It seldom ever fails.

My main clothing fixation is that it has be something I've never seen anybody wear before. Obviously it's hard to do this when buying suits, dress shirts and shoes, but I haven't bought a new suit in four years now.

Usually I'm an op-shopper, although Savers out here in Footscray has some stuff that's factory seconds rather than second-hand (if you have a problem with wearing other people's old clothing), and totally unique. Like the fluffy green pants that I have to be in a fairly provocative mood to wear. They're not obscene or anything, just unusual.

I just really hate most men's fashion, and feel really uncomfortable looking like a "bloke".

They are dunlop volleys, got 'em from Target a fair while ago.

FYI those corsets cost about $200 a piece, way out of my league if I'm gonna buy 100.

I now have got more shoes fromcamdenand have added to my collection a pair of great new rock bots with purple flames all over them and another new corset

I don't know where you're located, but there is a corset maker who comes to Bubonicon (local SF con) and similar events every year. Also "leather shoppes" have them and so do costumers.

IF you want a real Victorian corset, that's one thing; there are also bodices to be had at SCA events if there are vendors at all, and at Renaissance faires.
