I've got one that maybe only Brits aged between 8-14 in 1996/2000 have heard of. It was a TV drama called the Demon headmaster. It was about a girl named Dinah who moves into a foster home with two boys. When she gets to the school, everyone is standing in circles chanting answers. She finds out that the headteacher can hypnotize the pupils, all except a group of five. As Dinah is one of the cleverest students, she manages to remember about the hypnosis, but she is still too caught in the hypnotists' spell to tell any adults. Here's a YouTube link:
