I used to like Family Guy. Then my room-mate and I stopped watching it cause we got busy with other things.

Lemme tell ya........once you stop watching that show, good luck ever getting back into it. I tried watching it again, and just fell asleep in the process. And that's not just with the current series, but before it got canceled originally.

It seems to be the type of show that goes "oh hey, here's as close to a sexual joke as we can get without being banned by the censors, so instead we'll throw in some lame pop culture reference!"

It's little random things like that that crack me up. Jokes are very hit-or-miss, and the stories never really cohere as well as e.g. classic Simpsons episodes.

I absolutely love South Park.

I agree...Simpsons is too clean, but back when it first started out, no one thought so; limits for comedy have changed, and Simpsons hasn't changed with it......
