you mean he did not used to have a cone head untill bale took the role. He went back in time and had sex with his own mother, then was killed. But he had time to concieve himself.

in t1, KYLE REESE had sex with sarah connor, not john. john connor wasn't seen until t2. don't talk out of your @$$

I loved it when I first saw it. Anticipation for the movie is what got me into the series. But now, the only thing I don't like is Christian Bale. Nick Stahl was the best John Connor, they should have gotten him, but I do admit, Bale looks like an older Stahl. It's just that Bale sounded like Batman. Anton Yelchin was amazing as Kyle and Marcus was the best character in the movie. I also really liked seeing the future finally. I watched the old ones way before I got into Salvation and I didn't like them at first because they barely showed the future. But now that I'm older, I find that they are better than Salvation. Regardless, I will quit Terminator if McG does a movie in which connor goes back in time and tries to warn everbody like he wants to do. That's stupid.

to everyone: Kyle Reese went back in time in t1. he was assigned to protect sarah connor and later had sex with her, becoming john connor's father. john connor is mentioned, but never seen.
