I love the Butterfly Effect and also Donnie Darko.

One weird film that I like is called Insignificance. It was out in the 80's and for most of the film the setting is a single hotel room. There are only 4 characters in the film and they are suppose to be Einstein, Marylin Monroe, Joe De Magio, and Richard Nixon.

Its got a funny scene in it where 'Marylin' explains the theory of relativity.

i have that dvd. neat. a little-known george c. scott movie was "Rage," about [based on real incidents] a rancher who battles the military over a nerve gas release over his property which kills his son and eventually himself.

Films from David Lynch, Michel Gondry and Charlie Kaufman. I'm also a fan of early European surrealist cinema.
I find 'normal' films (such as teen movies or romantic comedies) much more bizarre to analyze than movies that are treated as art.
