actually even though I've only seen it in bits nad pieces, I gotta taht of all the incarnations I've seen I like the animation adaptation of the Batman: Gotham Night graphic novel.

I guess I'm going to be the one to buck the trend. '89 all the way. Ledger may have been a good Joker, but I hold firm in my convictions that nothing surpasses Nicholson.

Dark knight and Batman begins, I liked the other Batman movies too tho, but I like the new "serious" tone in the 2 last ones.

I'm still really ticked with TDK.... the studio bumped HP7 that summer because they wanted to make sure they would have a blockbuster for this year; simply because TDK did so well opening weekend... I refuse to watch HP7 in theaters currently because of that too. I'll happily wait to buy on DVD then fork out several times that to invest in their blown-out-ego desicions + the DVD when it prints. Hissss

When TDK finally came on cable a few weeks back I didn't even sit through ten min and it had lost my attention and I clicked to something else. I don't see what the hype was about. I did give it a fair chance but it was cheesy and boring due to that, imo.

Well yeah...I didn't give a rats ass about Heath Ledger prior to TDK, only thing I recognized his name for was Brokeback Mountain (aka softcore gay porn with a plot for public viewing).

The Joker's lines made the movie...well okay Dent and the murderer dude on the ferry had some good lines too and the Maroni dude made a good line in the club.

Absolutely. Ledger would have gone on to much bigger and greater things. He was a terrific actor and a great loss to the film industry.
