I did like Heath Ledgers performance it was really good, a bit overrated but worthwile never the less and i can imagine just seeing TDK to see Ledgers performance is still worth it.

Here is my opinon of TDK
Weakest players in that film
Christian Bale
Maggie Gylenhaal
Aron Eckhart
Morgan Freeman
Eric Roberts

Strongest players
Michale Caine (always like his performance as Alfred)
Heath Ledger
Gary Oldman (i think?)

EnglishInvader, i meant to say it's not Bale's Bat-voice that pisses me off, it's the constant endless stream of critics who wish for Adam West spouting off camp one-liners. I always think that Bale has a hidden voice modulator in the Batsuit that makes his voice sound intimidating and deep, but it still can be annoying.

His voice in Begins was slightly better, it was almost like Kevin Conroy's voice from the Animated Series.

Jamesy, i pretty much agree with your strongest and weakest players list from TDK. Apart from Bale including him the weak list, he is still a great Batman though.

I think in some ways Michael Keaton was better than bale. Maybe even Val Kilmer could have given bale a run for his money.

meh, michael keaton i really didn't like. hell, val kilmer could've been great. but, its just wasted potential. just like jeh in the new nightmare on elm street batman forever had the potential to be better than the 89 film, but they cut out too many stuff, and its a huge mess. but its still better than batman returns

What's wrong with Morgan Freeman? The only criticism I can think of is that MF isn't doing anything particularly special in his role of Lucius Fox. He's just playing the world-weary career man he plays in dozens of other films. Apart from that, he plays the part perfectly.

As for Aaron Eckhart, I don't think there is a single valid criticism against him. He got the role spot on. You're probably just too attached to the Tommy Lee Jones Two Face to take him seriously.

One of the scenes that TDK took almost directly from Long Halloween.

Not surprising considering Long Halloween served as the main inspiration for the story of TDK.

I know...and it's good thing. I'd dare to say that they messed up in not dedicating more time to Harvey's decline to being Two-Face.

I did actually like morgan freemans character its just he does not really have a big role in the films........... of course in TDK I guess his character was developed a bit with him going to hong kong and that saught of thing. :)

As always Morgan Freemans acting is top class so i will hand it to him for making the best of a kinda small role.

Why was Lucia Fox never in the old batman films?????????
