As far as movies go then I really like are:

- War and Peace (The Russian one of course)
- A man for all seasons
- Dangerous Liasons
- Becket
- Lion in the winter
- Barry Lyndon
- Age of Innosence
- Cleopatra
- Wuthering heights (Fiennes - Binoche version)

Sure there are more but I assume they are the ones that I like the most, my favorite would be hard to pick from those but with a gun to my head it would be a tigh between Age of Innosence, Barry Lyndon and War and Peace I guess.

Madmen is one of my all time favorite shows. I love the look of the early and mid sixties.
I also was an avid viewer of the "height of the Roman empire" period piece I, Claudius, which I first watched with unwavering fascination when I first saw it on PBS when I was in junior high.
Yes, I was, and still am, a nerd.

Yes, Madmen is one of the richest shows I've ever watched. I'm catching up on season 3 about to start season 4 on netflix tomorrow, and that show has not disappointed in quality of the dialog and acting.
