I have fond memories of Star Trek: Voyager because it was my first star trek series that i grew up with. As i look back though there were several things wrong. There were several characters that were unlikable or just plain dull. Neelix was just plain annoying. Harry Kim just didn't get anything as far as the writers threw him a bone to chew on once in a while but his presence would'nt have been missed. As far as Chakotay being a Native American i dindn't really feel it. And then of course Seven of Nine. She was interesting as far a a liberated borg drone finding her humanity but i think i saw that catsuit she had on she was there just for sex appeal. Otherwise she could have been just given a regular uniform or civilian clothes. The stories were also weak as far as being reused plot points that were already used in previous star trek series.
