That could be an isolated incident. I mean the customer service related to the incidents were good, but I got two "Friday the 13th" dvds in a row that were broken. I think there was another instance where one was so scratched even my PS3 had problems with it. My PS3 is GOOD with scratched disks. But though the blockbuster thing may have been an isolated incident, you may just as well have switched to netflix.

I had just switched from Netflix to Blockbuster, because I wasn't happy with all the recent changes. And I doubt that the problems I listed with Blockbuster are isolated. I found a couple of websites where people are having major problems with Blockbuster; Billing, shipping, disputes, cracked DVDs, etc. I never had so much trouble with Netflix. That's why I will probably just go back to them. I also figure that if I am having this much trouble early in my trial membership, I don't want to stick around for more.

Mine is $15.98 a month for unlimited streaming and 1 DVD out at a time. I almost dropped them but my husband canceled Blockbuster so I didn't need to cancel it after all. We weren't paying more in bills. I also use Gamefly because they have the Nintendo DS games and the GBA gamaes and the Gamecube and Blockbuster doesn't for mail rentals and they don't have GBA games nor Gamecube. So dropping Blockbuster was worth it.

So now I am back to square one. Literally. When I canceled my Netflix account, I was told that they would keep all my account info on file, including my queue. Although I was only canceled for about a week, when I went to reinstate my account, they had not kept my information. There was a button to select if you were a returning customer, but when I did, I was taken to a page where I was forced to sign up for streaming even though I had been on the 2 movies out at a time plan. Then I had to change the plan once I was reinstated. I called the customer service number, and they assured me that the queue would be restored later. Also, they assured me that my membership fees would be pro-rated for the partial month's membership. They not only charged me the full amount, but they have not restored my queue. Now I have to build another one. I wrote them a very irate letter!
