I always think of Airplane when I think of comedy films. I think it was the original spoof film.

But I think Laurel and Hardy are still funny.

Good choices. I think it depends on my mood. Sometimes, I like intelligent humor and other times ridiculously stupid.

I saw Borat again recently and found especially how people responded to the character hilarious.
Superbad's McLovin along with the two cops is another that cracks me up.

Shaun of the Dead

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are frickin' HILARIOUS in this, which made them household names.

I also agree about Horrible Bosses; Jason Sudekis is such a scene-stealer in it.

the twilight zone episode "once upon a time," was a comedy classic starring buster keaton [who was the one who taught lucy prop comedy], one of the few comedic twilight zone episodes. this one will put a smile on your face. :mrgreen:
