I forgot to mention A Charlie Brown Christmas! A Christmas Story is pretty good, too. I don't know if it counts, but I like Toy Story, also. I guess it counts. There's a Christmas scene in it. Does anybody remember or have they seen Rankin/Bass's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas? They stopped showing it, but I remember seeing it during my childhood. It was animated, and it involved a mouse, a toymaker, and a clock. It might be on YouTube. Oh, and Babes in Toyland was another good one.

The first thing to come to mind after seeing Rankin/Bass was The Hobbit, lol. I loved the animation from that film, and I'm disappointed they don't use it in this Christmas film.

Elf because of its charming consumerism and humor. Also Charlie Brown's Christmas because it was like the first Christmas special/movie I decided to watch.

"Father Christmas", it's a spin-off of The Snowman about what santa does throughout the year. And he goes on holiday to various countries and hilarity ensues.

Christmas on mars - The Flaming Lips' cinematic cross of Christmas and Sci/Fi.

Bad Santa - I liken it to a Christmas tale as if written by Charles Bukowski.

A Christmas Story - Even I have a soft spot for this movie.
