I actually just started discovering Kamen Rider after watching the first episode of mighty morphin power rangers season 3, which served as a pilot for Masked Rider, the american adaptation of Kamen Rider Black RX (that adaptation was awful BTW) I like Kamen rider.

As for super sentai, i have to say i prefer Power rangers given my familiarity with the franchise. I don't think one is better then the other, i feel Super sentai and power rangers are apples and oranges and should not be over-comparred.

Yeah the one that came after OOO was awful. I tried soo hard to make myself watch it but I couldn't. W and OOO were the best. Decade was cool with all the crossovers.

Problem with PR vs SS is that SS it is the original plot and well PR is not. Not to say that you can't make something better of an original but I have yet seen that with any power rangers. It seems like the KID it down way too much here in the states and take away from the original meaning. As if our kids here in the US are not smart enough to figure things out like kids in Japan. It's a whole mindset thing. Granted kids in Japan love both Super Sentai and Power Rangers. Personally I think Super Sentai caries more weight though.

For the record, Japanese kids have NEVER heard of Power Rangers, only the adults do.

Sentai I loved:

Dekaranger
Shinkenger ( way better than Power Rangers Samurai )
Boukenger ( infinitely superior to Power Rangers Operation Overdrive )
Go-Buster ( need to finish downloading and watching that one...)
Akibaranger ( need to finish that one too...)
and best one of all: Gokaiger!
I also enjoy Power Rangers.
