On the Beach. I watched it once back in high school, and I actually felt emotions from it. Most disaster movies are just stupid to me, but this one is more. This was so terribly emotional for me at the time.

Yep, the Airport movies and Earthquake are classics. Another personal fave is The Hurricane, from 1937.
