The Disney sequels and the Harry Potter films.

As much as people hate the Disney sequels, I do feel that some of them had potential and could've given Disney an even bigger profit had they let the feature animation studio produce them instead of handing them off to a cheaper animation studio.

And what can I say about the Harry Potter films? I personally think they got worse with each film. But to be honest, this should've been a television series, not a film series. You could've gotten a lot more in exploring the universe and characters whereas in the films, it's just glance over.

I would do a remake of Footloose where Ren McCormack beats the crap out of Reverend Moore.

I really loved The Lion King II: Simba's Pride when I was younger. I thought Zira was awesome. That being said, I don't think the movie has aged well. I listened to "Zira's Lullaby" a couple of months ago and cringed at the lyrics.

See, that's why I am afraid to revisit my all-time favorite childhood movie, Balto. I really don't want it to be as cringe-worthy as a lot of the other stuff I used to like when I was a kid.

The Hobbit - gawd I could think of so many things I would like to change... primarily loose Radagast the Brown...please!

Sherlock (BBC version) - I think Moriarty would have made a more interesting adversary as a woman instead of a man. Adds a lot more potential plot twists and story arcs.

The Lord Of the Rings - Put back in the barrow wights & Tom Bombadil. Also having the scene where they show Smeagol killing Deagol being an accident as they fought for the ring instead of simple murder. Especially when Tolkien in the earlier version of the The Hobbit did not portray Gollum as so evil as being beyond redemption, that was changed in a later version o fthe book ( I forget which and since Jackson took quite a bit of artistic license to change the story I think this would have added a bit more depth to Gollum.

Forever Knight - Nick should have brought Nat across instead of having LaCroix kill him.

Babylon 5 - Should have ended at Season 4, and then spun off into the war between the Psycore and everyone else.

Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Should have had a 3rd season.

Merlin - Would have had Merlin's true power revealed to Arthur way before the last episode.

Andromeda - would have kept Dick Wolf , he had the superior story arc than what the show degenerated into after he was let go.

Bones - keep the sexual tension with Boone, loose the baby (A good play would have been to have it kidnapped by one of those members of that secret society or another and they eat/kill it.) Every time I see a good show like that add a baby/kid to the mix it seems to be the death knell.

You're not the only one that notices that. It's often a frequent Jump-the Shark moment, and is often a sign that the show is about to go downhill.

From TVTropes "Jumping the Shark":
'A baby is added to an otherwise-adult cast, resulting in ill-suited addition of childish themes and endless babytalk from characters who were once intelligent-speaking adults fatally altering the character dynamic.'

What I would change:
2007 Transformers Movie: I would get rid of the romance junk and Megan Fox, and have the rest of the movie proceed as normal, although giving the military a much bigger role.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: I would get rid of the potty/sex humor and Megan Fox, and just have the rest of the movie go on as normal, but with the Decepticons trying to find the rest of the Allspark or the Creation Matrix instead of the Sun Harvester.

I love The Departed but the ending is so sudden!! I'd replace that with something that gives a bit more... how do I say this? Emotional closure.

I really like Sucker Punch for the most part, and I think it works fine as is, but one thing I would change if it were up to me is the part where Baby Doll and the girls obtain the fire-stone's from the dragon's nest. I thought that was just uncharacteristically brutal for Baby Doll and Rocket especially. I'd probably make it so the dragon was guarding the artifact à la the Golden Fleece.

After Earth

Should have taken place on another planet instead of in a wilderness on Earth. Title should have been different too.

Just remembered, back when I was in Uni, about a 100 years ago, I would entertain friends with a proposed version of Brave New World as a musical. I recall it opening with the attendants in the nursery doing a chorus line. While 1984 is frightening, and quotable, Brave New world is just wacky and more than a bit daft with the movies being "Feelies" and all that.

Oh boy, a LOT of movies on my mind need changing.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Optimus would not die halfway through the movie and more emphasis would be placed on the Autobots instead of Sam, Skids and Mudflap would be cut, there'd be no reason for Simmons to drop his pants and the editing of the Smithsonian from DC to some random airfield would be tightened up a whole lot.

The Hobbit - Make Smaug an actual dragon like he was portrayed for 76 years prior even by Tolkien himself and not a silly wyvern that walks on its wings.

I would have ended A.I with David at the bottom of the ocean, before the aliens show up.

I would erase Alien 3 from existence. Killing Hicks and Newt made the whole movie too much of a downer.

The Godfather 3 needed Tom Hagen.

I would get better writers for Battle for the Planet of the Apes, and increase the budget. It was a crappy movie to end a great and varied series with.
