director [European versions] was a better name IMHO. wonder why nobody ever named a car "chairman of the board"?

It's the same as calling a football team in the South The Ni**ers.The car names are not offensive,Pontiac is named after a tribe,it even has an arrowhead for an emblem.It is not derogatory.I have native blood and I find the name offensive.
And when's the last time a Studebaker rolled off the assembly line. :D Id rather have a Studebaker Hawk than a Dictator.
As for the Indian motorcycles,nothing wrong with the names Chief,Warrior,etc....

November is Native Heritage month,wear your moccasins on Nov 15th.

nobody has ever named a car "lady bug." somebody needs to step up to the plate and make such a car. same for a sports team. the lady bugs. :alien:
