Joaquin Phoenix as Commodus in Gladiator (spoilers below, even though the movie is 15 years old).
- kills his old man
- wants to f**k his sister, threatens his nephew to get his way
- not just tries to kill rival for the throne, but then kills his whole family and burns the place down
- cheats during gladiator fights
- and of course he does it all with such glee, you can see he is thrilled whenever some gladiator gets injured, he revels in the violence.... just like the person viewing the Gladiator movie probably 
I think this is a great performance of an evil person with pretty much no redeeming qualities. You hate him the moment he appears.
