However, there are still many movies that she won't allow me to watch, like 40-Year-Old Virgin, even though I really want to see it.

Hawaii 5-0. Saw it years later and I wasn't impressed. I've always been more partial to Magnum PI

I was not allowed to watch Dallas when I was a kid, but I got hooked about 11 years ago when it aired on the old TNN network here in the States.

I grew to love that show, and I got obssesed with it and the character of J.R. Ewing. To this day it is an obssesion of mine and I am damn proud of it, lol.

I was never forbidden to watch any shows as a child. I got to watch whatever I wanted.

There were no controversial shows on TV when I was a kid. The 70's were pretty squeaky clean. My parents didn't like me watching the "Gong Show" though.
