I think the Borg were one of the reasons I liked Voyager.

When I attempted to go to college and live in a dorm, everyone posted pictures on their doors to express themselves, I think. I just put a big picture of a Borg cube on mine to display my feelings on the matter.

I decided not to count Nemesis, with good reason. Remans? come on!

Sure? A movie is a movie, is a movie, whether you like the premise or not. :|

In his defense, the basic plot was ripped off from The Wrath of Khan, anyway...

Bad movies don't have to count, they retconned Superman 3 and 4 with Superman Returns. and Roddenberry is dead he can't control the vision of his universe anymore. Without his OK I'll judge them by quality, I don't have to accept them quietly. :D

I've seen all of the movies, and got into Star Trek from TNG, then got into TOS. I also liked Voyager and DS9. Now, one local station is showing TOS every Sunday at midnight, where they enhanced them slightly, without taking away the charm of the series.

[spoil]The only problem I see with Nemesis is Shinzon, he should have been a regular human or romulan but not Picard's clone. I just hate the idea of creating another Picard to destroy the Federation, and when I am watching TNG 2nd season do I have to asume that there is a Picard clone growing up rapidly in Remus?[/spoil]

Although I grew up with TNG and loved it to pieces as a kid, and although I can still enjoy it a great deal now (and Darmok is probably the best, or certainly one of the top 5, of all the eps) in the end I'm a dyed-in-the-wool DS9 fan. It certainly had probably the most interesting and complex villain of the entire series, and I could just watch Captain Sisko walk back and forth in front of the camera all day long....

But yeah, of course I'm all "OMG DATA" etc, and in spite of my best intentions and my overall dislike of Voyager, I found the Doctor and even (arrgh) Seven of Nine likable. Despite the episode in which Voyager completely ripped off an ep of Red Dwarf...(go on, ask me which one). Actually Voyager did manage to have a few halfway decent eps.
