I like cartoons! Cartoon, derived from the French carton, meaning box or frame. Cartoon, having nothing implicitly to do with cars, or tunes.
I like animated cartoons too.
And anime is one type of animated cartoon!

My favorite cartoons are about animals, or with cute fuzzy creatures in them. Some of Chuck Jones's early stuff, before the bastard went hedonistic and started vomiting out Looney Toons, is really really good. "The White Seal," "Rikki Tikki Tavi," and I was totally in love with Tock, the Watch Dog, from "Phantom Tollbooth." That style all those movies share was so darling, and endearing, but the only fragment of it that survived when the Warner Brothers empire descended was that wandering flute line.

Ebichu!! !! (Kuri to risu *giggles madly!*)
Fruits Basket, a psychological thriller cleverly disguised as a bubbly cute shojo anime.
Um... Pokemon, Master Quest, episode 243. Yes, only that one epsiode. In fact, only the last 2 minutes of that episode.
What a great idea Pokemon is... and how poorly executed, mangled and dubbed...
I will one day find "Shiawase Sou no Okojo," and they will all be wrong it will not suck.
Excel Saga! Aaaaaaaakuroooooosuuuuuu*gets hit by a truck*

Fun anime like that. ^.^

I also liked Nausicaa, the anime and the manga, and I like Full Metal Alchemist (Hage no Renkin justushi!), but I haven't been able to bring myself to watch past the scene where Hughes....Huuughes
