I don't ever watch that stuff ever, maybe take a peek for a laugh or two, but never.

But I have to ask to myself; who are the bigger dupes on the show? The guests, or the audience?

Kind of like pro wrestling.

as for dupes: guests or audience? this is exactly what i think about them Candid Camera type shows. I mean, the way i see it is they are all actors in them and it is the viewer being duped into believing otherwise. So i dont like them; but things like pro-wrestling and Springer, is just entertainment.

I watched one last night called "I love my daughter" or something.
This guy had been sleeping with his daughter for twenty years.
Top entertainment.

Well at least wrestling has been proven to be scripted and so far, fans will still go crazy. But at least we are seeing behind-the-scenes programs that want to show that the Springer show execs. trying to get the guests to be more crazy and aggressive. Just like how creative wants to get the wrestlers to hate each other and try to kill each other.

Pretty pathetic when they want to script and enhance "private lives" on talk shows versus, scripting and booking "public feuds" in wrestling, even though they may get into deeper areas that are too far and too private, such as family. Then it is too far.

I would rather watch the wrestling since the entertainment is nowadays more so entertainment.
