OBJECTION!

Napoleon Dynamite has quite a few AS traits. Re-watch the movie.

That's the conclusion I reached after watching last Sunday's episode, where Lisa becomes obsessed with crossword puzzles: she sees words forming in her mind, and writes them out on the school blacktop. She also competes in a crossword puzzle contest.

Seconded. Fictional characters, being non-existent in reality, do not have anything unless it is specifically written into the characters by their creators.
Even Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory" is not an aspie unless it is mentioned on the show, even though he has many of the traits.

I agree, with an exception.
It is enough if it is mentioned in the private notes of the authors. It doesn't have to be stated explicitly in the work itself.

I agree also. And it's a little irksome to find this subforum cluttered up with all this "fictional character with AS" quandries. What I want to know is, where are all the aspie film geeks? I don't even consider myself that well-informed of a film-geek.... there must be more of you!

Lisa having AS? I doubt that.
With the Sheldon theory, it could very well be deliberate that it is not mentioned that he has it. Probably something to give quirkiness to the character.

Nancy Cartright doesn't have it otherwise she would'nt be able to do many voices like some Chipmunks characters. Lisa is too smart and whitty to be an Aspie.

Bart could have it. He definitly has ADHD.
