I enjoy watching English-language movies dubbed in Hungarian for that reason. Home Alone was especially entertaining.

At least you can, or may receive the title of the film in other languages, depending on the country. When translated back to English, other countries sure give Amer. movies some pretty strange titles. I can't think of one at this moment though.

Subtitled, definitely. It preserves the original film. Also, languages are one of my main interests, so I like to try to match the spoken language to the subtitles. "Oh, so that's the word for 'pickles' in German!"

I almost always prefer subtitled movies, but in anime it's a toss-up. When I watch an animated film, I want to admire the artistry, animation, and background, so I usually watched them dubbed for better story comprehension. In some of the richest animated films, like Akira and Princess Mononoke, there is simply so much delight in watching the screen that being forced to read subtitles would really detract from the experience.

I like it watchnig the dubbed version (sometimes) with subtitles.Hearing people speak in a different language has always fasinated me.
