i don't mean to bring up an old thread but i just saw the movie last night and absolutely loved it. it was the first time i've ever actually related to a movie character, and it actually brought tears to my eyes at one point as i relived the meltdowns i had when i was younger and was bullied. the story was really nice but...
the movie was in subtitles, just in case some of you don't like that. I personally prefer subtitles to dubbing because it doesn't take me out of the movie as much because the words match the lips and the voices match the characters.
on a side note, i never knew there were so many similarities between Flemish and English. there were a few times where i heard what was said, thought "hey that sounds a lot like..." and then read the subtitle, and it was pretty much the same.
i don't see why one should not revive a topic if it is interesting...
i didn't know there were subtitles, i had understood that they planned to make an english remake,
don't remember where i heard that
also don't see why that should be necessary cause the acting is really perfect if you ask me
agreed on the preference of subtitles over dubbing
