Backdraft. The funeral scene at the end. I rewatched it recently.

I came to close to crying when watching Brokeback Mountain.

Also, the same thing happened when
I watched Peter Jackson's remake of King Kong.

it's really hard to get me crying at a movie, but the last one that made me teary eyed was RENT.

The first movie I cried at was Transformers when Optimus Prime died, I was 5 at the time and I remember it as if it was yesterday.

i defy you to keep a dry eye when that Annie Lennox song comes on during the credits of Return of the King.

I just had a mental image of "Walking on broken glass" playing during the credits.

Mine was actually The Land Before Time. I don't usually cry at films, and I've watched that film loads of time before without crying, but I just teared up while watching it the other day. That bit where Littlefoot thinks his shadow is his mother is just tragic!

Like everyone else, E.T. made me cry. I don't actually watch movies that much, really.

I kinda remember the first time I cried at a movie, it was some film where aeroplanes are the focus.

Me too!

Also, I remember when I was 6 years old and went to see "The Real Mackaw" in the theatre I cried. I was waiting on a chair, crying, whilst my [then] step-father was going toilet after the film had finished. A lady and her two kids came up to me and the lady asked if I was lost. I said...."No, but the birdy got hurt, and I *sob* love that birdy,".

GOTF always makes me cry. And "Awakenings" too. And "The Crucible".

...But not "American Beauty". That was boring. I just kept thinking "so die already!" the whole way through.

Yeah, I tend to feel a lot of movies pretty intensely that have real immersive themes of life hear after or the bigger questions that a lot of people tend to have.

I honestly can say I haven't cried during a movie since I was a kid (not at all meaning anything by that - its perfectly ok, I just haven't) but there are many movies that I think at least provoked the right kinds of emotions to that degree. I guess I'll just say certain aspects of these movies really touched me.

Million Dollar Baby - VERY good movie.

King Kong (2006) - Just because Naiomi Watt's expressions and the way the quality of acting all around was so off the charts, you got the message larger than life.

I'll think of a couple more in a while.
