But there is some debate over whether Stewie is saying "laugh and cry" or "effin' cry".

The line is "laugh and cry", but they dub it and remove the "lau" sound. They un-dubbed it for a few episodes. This explains why you can hear Stewie say laugh in a few of the episodes.

It seems today,
that all you see,
is violence in movies and sex on TV.
But where are those good old fashioned values,
on which we used to rely?

Lucky he's a family guy.

Lucky he's a man who, positively can do,
all the things that make us...

Laugh and cry.

He's,
a,
fam-
ly
guy!

I had real trouble enjoying Family Guy after I watched that South Park where they ragged on it. There's still some funny bits, though; "This is more intense than that time I forgot how to sit down"

Family Guy owns South Park. They're just jealous they took away from South Park's ratings. A seven year old could come up with a South Park episode, it's just a bunch of obscenities. Family Guy is actually clever.

Well they're two different shows, really. South Park is more of a satire kind of thing, so naturally, obscenity will play a big part in episodes about censorship (coincidentally enough, the main issue at stake in the cartoon wars episodes I'm talking about). Different strokes for different folks.

Family guy loves chicken jokes.

Chicken fights.

"I'll buy you the most expensive dinner you ever had!! Hello, i'd like 6'000 Chicken fajitas"

The Bin laden joke "Ill have to do the whole tape with this in my hand. It wasnt me it was the chicken!"

Also, more random jokes.

I think that Family Guy is simultaneously lowbrow and very witty (in its own unique way!). Seth MacFarlane, you are a legend!

Why? Seems unnecessary.
