Lol, I know, its crazy, I can't help but watch it though! Are you in the US? I'm like that too, I need to concentrate, and I watch those 2 shows on my own.
I am in the US. My husband likes to watch shows and eat food at the same time. When my "obsession" shows come on I kick him out of the room or I just decide to record them and watch them at a later time.

He thinks I'm out of my mind, he is halfway right. I have no tolerance for dinner theatre! At least when it comes to MY SHOWS. If we are watching shows that I don't really care about, then I am OK with eating.
If you are in the UK though, your programing might have a delay in air time. I might be wrong. I have a very difficult time watching my favorite UK shows, even online. One of my favorites is one called QI. I try to watch and I get weird error messages that say that I must be in Europe to see the show. I can't get anything but BBC-America here and it's not all that great overall. Americans have great television but the UK has produced amazing TV as well but we just never get exposed to it. It's sad really.
