I had a similar experience when I tried to watch Battlefield Earth. Like, nothing catches your interest or makes you care. You kind of forget you're watching a movie and eventually wander off to do something else.

I love Van Helsing! How dare you?!

Anyways, I think that Scary Movies 1, 2, 3, and 4, and the rest of the "Movie" franchise drive me insane with their sleazy approach to some great movies. If they DARE spoof Van Helsing in the future...

The Sequel to Weekend at Bernies - the guy would have been a smelly, rotting corpse with the flesh coming off by that point.

I tried to watch Date Movie when it was on FX a while back. I only made it an hour in because I was just paying half-attention to it while surfing the internet. Even that was too much to handle.

Any High School Musical movie is stupid, if you want a real look on high school kids I would say the tv show The Principal's office. Also 17 Again it had a better view on high school students but I just looked at it and though, 'Well this is stupid.' Disney has gone down hill when they started High School Musical.

I know, right?

The first Weekend At Bernie's was pretty stupid itself. Mostly because it felt like a filler 5-minute SNL sketch stretched to a painful 97 minutes.

Open Water (Not a tribute to Jaws, just a couple argueing in the ocean because they didn't have sex the night before they got abannon by a scubadiving boat trip)

Green Street Hoagans (A young man who feels that being a tough guy will solve his loniless in his social life)

Date Movie (A poor rip-off of the works of the geniuses Zucker and Abrohams)

That movie's actually based on a true story.

Both died in the water so it's techically based on true events. The story was fictionally based on those events.

Not many will remember but one from the late '70s I saw in the theater was called "The Black Hole." Terrible movie.

I feel in my opinon that any new movie that's out in theatre now a days are terrable and of course low budget because of the following........

1. ecconemy

2. not needing to pay for writers which salaries are enormous

I can't believe no one's said Snakes on a Plane yet. Is it too obvious?

I thought Barnyard was awful, and I normally like kid movies.

Well movies like Snakes on a Plane are what I like to call "awesomely dumb". Where a movie is so stupid (usually knowingly) that it comes back around on itself and becomes an odd kind of brilliance. Other examples include Plan Nine and Troll 2 (the greatest movie ever).

The last X-Men movie. It was terrible.
