Just saw it. My expectations were not very high, but I am happy to say I liked it. More humor than I had expected, pretty good casting, simple story, captured a lot of the spirit of the original tv show. The jiggly camera work in the action scenes bothered me, but I am resigned to that in almost all movies these days. Over all, glad I saw it.

I saw it last night. I'm not much of a Trek fan (I've watched the original and Next Gen but can't watch any of the other series. I've seen all the films and like 2 and 4 the best.

Until last night.

I think I like the new Star Trek movie the best - though time will have to tell.
